The Banshee

The banshees in gaelic/irish folklore are women who were mourning for the dead. "Banshee" originally means in Gaelic "woman of the fairies". This mythology set the inspiration for the "Banshee" A/W 94 collection of Alexander McQueen, a designer who inspired the entire fashion world and brought a variety of innovations in fashion.
We aim to present here fashion inspirations, style icons, artistic garments and styling ideas, which show the present and the future of fashion, but always looking back at the past.
